Imperfect love

Let rain clouds gather and cover all

the shattered pieces living as my flesh.
Let it take me bit by bit
protect me from the dirt.

Hope is all I need to live
even as a broken script.

Take me to your kingdom,
let’s show them one by one;
How to stay so true to love
to never lose a day.
Even if we're only perfect

once we've passed away.

On a column we shall live
one of clouds that is.
For that’s the safest place
there is -

The one where loving stays.
